Ashok Leyland, the most trusted company in the field of the commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has announced ventilator production and distribution to help treat coronavirus patients. Ashok Leyland said that the government of the country and the Government of Tamil Nadu were asked to work with ventilator manufacturers and help them improve the supply and production of ventilators. However, instead of working with only one party or one product, the company has decided to do a complete job and offer the entire category of breathing apparatus. It will prove to be helpful in various ways for coronovirus patients.

The company is working to offer three types of ventilators which are as follows - First Mile, Mid Range and High-End ICU Ventilator. The automaker said that at present, no solution is ready for first-mile ventilation. To solve this problem, 50 Ashok Leyland engineers have been working for a month. Now an easy and intelligent ventilator has been prepared which is cost-effective and has all the necessary features of first-mile ventilation. The company has completed all types of processes and testing, certification and clinical trials will be completed in the next few weeks before starting mass production.

Commenting on the initiative, Ashok Leyland Managing Director and CEO Vipin Sondhi commented on the matter saying that "The company's sourcing and engineering teams are working 24X7 on these 3 projects. We are happy that our efforts in building these ventilators This will support the ventilator manufacturers. This will help the government and in future, the ventilators will be made ready for the needs of the people. " Ashok Leyland is working with two Chennai-based ventilator manufacturers for mid-range and high-end ICU ventilators. Kriti Kare India and Phoenix Medical Systems manufacture medical devices. Together with them, an adult ventilator has been prepared.
