Bhopal: The shooting of the third part (Aashram 3) of filmmaker Prakash Jha web series 'Aashram' had just begun when there was an uproar over it. Just the previous day, Bajrang dal people broke the set of the web series in Bhopal. Now, amidst all this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bhopal Pragya Singh Thakur has threatened the filmmakers. In a recent statement, she said, "Under her leadership, Bharat Bhakti Akhara will create a separate department to check the content of web series, scripts and films.'' At the same time, she added, 'If needed, he will not allow the production of controversial films.'
In fact, Pragya has also threatened to stop shooting for the third season of the 'Aashram' series. She has alleged that "Sanatan dharma is being mocked and insulted in the name of entertainment.'' At the same time, she said, "As a sannyasi, I can understand the pain of the sadhus. The word 'Aashram' makes the mind happy and good emotions start flowing, but it is being misrepresented. Films are now being made to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. All this should stop now, not only in Madhya Pradesh but all over the country.'' She further challenged 'the filmmakers to make films on churches, madrasas, bibles and Quran if they have the courage. Why doesn't anyone make films on love jihad?'
What is the matter- Yes, last Monday, some Bajrang Dal workers created ruckus on the sets of the shooting of Aashram 3 in Bhopal and broke the set. On the other hand, 4 to 5 persons of the film's team were injured in the Bajrang Dal attack.
