PAK vs HK Highlights, Asia Cup 2022: Pakistan advanced to the Asia Cup Super 4 stage by defeating Hong Kong on 38 while defending a total of 194. With the dismissals of Nizakat Khan and Babar Hayat, Naseem Shah sent Pakistan on its way to victory. After Yasim Murtaza mistimed his pull, Shahnawaz Dahani placed Hong Kong three down. Together, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz grabbed seven wickets to cheaply dismiss Hong Kong's middle and lower orders. Earlier, in an Asia Cup encounter that was essentially a knockout, Pakistan overcame the early removal of Babar Azam to record a total of 193 for two against Hong Kong.

Ehsan Khan defeated the Pakistani captain in the third over, giving Pakistan's innings the worst conceivable start. However, Pakistan had a solid foundation to advance their innings thanks to Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman's 116-run partnership. Rizwan continued to stay unbeaten at 78 after Zaman was eliminated by Ehsan at 53. Khushdil Shah led Pakistan above the 190-run threshold with an undefeated cameo of 35 off 15 balls.

Hong Kong: Nizakat Khan (capt), Babar Hayat, Yasim Murtaza, Kinchit Shah, Scott McKechnie (wk), Haroon Arshad, Aizaz Khan, Zeeshan Ali, Ehsan Khan, Ayush Shukla, Mohammad Ghazanfar

Pakistan: Babar Azam (capt), Mohammad Rizwan (wk) , Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Shahnawaz Dahani

Player of the Match Mohammad Rizwan: "Most important for us to adjust to the conditions even if it is T20 cricket. The ball was keeping low. We tried hitting, but it wasn't coming off. Then we charged down, keeping in mind the ball was staying low. I believe in hard work... Being a senior player, you have to take responsibility. You have to play according to the team, and there will be pressure. I request everyone to help the people of Pakistan, who are in trouble [due to the floods]"

Babar Azam (Captain of the Winning site):  "Very nice victory for us. The wicket was keeping low, but the way we batted and finished was outstanding. We want the top-orders batters to stay till the end, and the lower ones to bat around them. The way Naseem and Dahani have debuted, they have shown brilliant performances."

Nizakat Khan (Captain of the losing site): "Lots of learnings from these two games. Credit to Pakistan for the way they played. Shot making, I must admit, was poor. We'll take back the professionalism of the two teams."
