Pakistan: The Asia Cup 2023 itinerary will soon be revealed after a protracted wait. Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the PCB Management Committee, will present the schedule for the ACC Asia Cup 2023 on Wednesday in Lahore, according to a press release from the Pakistan Cricket Board. At 7:45 PM, the event is set to begin.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) stated last month that four matches will be hosted in Pakistan and nine in Sri Lanka with the event to be conducted from August 31 to September 17. This follows the acceptance of the hybrid model by all stakeholders, including the PCB and BCCI. The hybrid format was suggested because BCCI had made it plain that it would not send a team to Pakistan because of the tense situation between the two countries.
The ACC members, including India, endorsed the hybrid model that Najam Sethi, the PCB's dissolved cricket management committee chairman, had recommended.

The two India-Pakistan matches in the competition are expected to take place at Dambulla, according to indications.
The participating nations for the continental event are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal.
Two groups will be present in the 2023 edition, and two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage. The final will then feature the top two teams from the Super Four stage.

The two Test matches and three T20I home series against the West Indies have been postponed from January through February 2024 to January 2025, and they have been replaced by a road series of five T20Is against New Zealand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated on Tuesday.
"The Pakistan Cricket Board announced its men's side will play 10 additional T20Is against New Zealand in the 2023-24 season as part of its strategic decision to provide the best preparation opportunities for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024," PCB said in an official statement.
