MUMBAI: Actress Ashmita Sood of "Dil Hi Toh Hai," who portrays a villain in the programme "Janam Janam ka Sath," said she enjoys being a part of it.

"I believe the show's name, "Janam Janam Ka Sath," is excellent since it captures the essence of the plot, which is about rebirth. The title is rather catchy. Three individuals form the centre of the show's tale, which centres on love and hatred. It tells the tale of how life has continued to exist beyond death and how some things and feelings have persisted into the next world "She said.

She  said: "For the very first time, people will see me in an unfavourable light. This time, I considered trying a small experiment where I make things challenging for the main actors since I am a very possessive person." Asmita, however, claimed that she has few associations with her persona: "Since my character is negative, I can't say that I identify with her, but there are some possessive behaviours that, if I were in a real-life relationship, I may also tolerate. I suppose there is a little of Trishala in each of us. I suppose we are all possessive of the people we love, even though it may not be that intense.

But this is what prompted me to register. What drew me in was the character graph."  she added: "There is a lot of responsibility and pressure when playing the lead. However, because I am enjoying my journey this time, I am not feeling any pressure. It will be enjoyable as long as the three of us take pleasure in the activity." Asmita, on the other hand, is not one to be influenced by rivalry. "There is a great deal of competition, but there are also a great deal of opportunity. There are regional films, online series, and television shows. The lines separating each medium are becoming more hazy, which presents several options. I wouldn't refer to it as a contest, but  an opportunity for performers "Finally, she said.
