Guwahati: After the arrival of 165 new cases of corona infection in Assam, the total number of infected people has increased to 2,13,336, while the death toll has increased to 985 after the death of two more patients. State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has given information in this regard. According to Sarma, with the recovery of 177 patients in the state, the total number of healthy people has increased to 2,08,843. The minister informed that currently 3,505 patients are undergoing treatment in the state.

It is noteworthy that the number of patients infected with Coronavirus in the country has been witnessing a decline for the past several days. The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 95 million. According to data released by the Ministry of Health, 35,551 new cases of covid-19 infection have been registered in the last 24 hours, while 526 people have died. After the arrival of new cases, the total number of corona infected patients in the country has gone up to 95 lakh 34 thousand 964.

According to the Ministry of Health, 89 lakh 73 thousand 373 people have become healthy in the country so far, while there are 4 lakh 22 thousand 943 active cases in the country at this time. After the deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of dead in the country has increased to 1 lakh 38 thousand 648. According to ICMR, 11 lakh 11 thousand 698 corona probes have been conducted within the last 24 hours in the country.
