The police said on Tuesday that a minor girl from Dhubri, Assam, has been rescued from Palghar, Maharashtra.
The underage girl was lured into an affair before being kidnapped by a Maharashtra resident, according to Dhubri Superintendent of Police Gaurav Abhijit Dilip. Despite the fact that the accused was arrested by the Assam Police with the assistance of Maharashtra Police, the court granted him bail.
This is Dhubri Police's fifth successful rescue mission outside the state in the last three months. Earlier, a minor girls were rescued from Rajasthan, Haryana, and West Bengal. Several reports of girls being abducted from the region have surfaced in recent days, with the majority of them being forced into the flesh trade.
