Kamrup: A mob, which went to solve the case of mob lynching in Hailakandi district of Assam, attacked the police and injured 12 people. The in-charge of Hailakandi police station was also injured in this attack. It is reported that the police mob went to suggest a case of lynchings being carried out on a group of people, but the angry mob attacked the police itself. This incident is from Nitainagar in Hailakandi district.
