The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for the Common Written Test for Constable Recruitment in Assam Police to February 3.
Candidates who passed the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PST and PET) can now register for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test on the official website slprbassam.in till February 3 at 5.00 PM.
Earlier, the deadline for applications was January 30. The PST/PET results were issued by the Board earlier this month. Last year, physical examinations for Assam Police Constables were performed in several districts throughout the state.

The recruitment drive is being held to fill 2,391 unarmed branch (UB) and 4,271 armed branch (AB) Constable posts in Assam Police, 813 APRO and 788 Constable, 754 Constable / Guardsman posts under DGCD & CGHG, Assam, and 154 Constable from SPOs against sanctioned posts of AISF Battalion under DGCD & CGHG, Assam.
