Jaipur: Assam students met Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan on Friday. Governor Kalraj Mishra introduced the students who came to Rajasthan under Operation Sadbhavana of Indian Army. Governor Mishra presented sweaters to all the students and wished them all the best in life.

Governor Kalraj Mishra said in the meantime that under the Operation Sadbhavana run by the Indian Army, the program to provide study tours to distant students is commendable. This tour gives a feeling of national unity. He said that we are all one. There may be variation in food and living in different places, but all the people of India are tied in the thread of unity. The governor said that we also get geographical knowledge from the excursion.

He said that Assam is a state of natural beauty. The people there are benign. The governor also asked the students to see the architecture of Rajasthan. Major Stephen, the student team chief, told Governor Kalraj Mishra that this team of twenty students is going on a tour of Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Students Kokuluddin and Raju Sheikh also presented folk songs before the governor.
