Assembly poll results bring joyfulness to grand old party Congress as it won in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, also took highest 114 seats in Madhya Pradesh.Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh conceded defeat and submitted resignation to Governor. People of Telangana reposed faith in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as voters deliver a resounding win for TRS. Last Congress bastion in North East pulled down as Mizo National Front threw out the Lalthanhawla led Govt, incumbent CM lost from both seats he contested. Mizo National Front President Zoramthanga called on Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan and stake claim to form government in the state.

In the 5-state elections, Congress has emerged as the single largest party in Madhya Pradesh,Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is where the Congress beat the BJP handed down ejecting 15-year-old Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh from office but it also lost its lone refuge in the North-East to Mizoram's regional group MNF. Its coalition experiment in Telangana also blasted hugely with K Chandrashekhar Rao and his TRS got a resounding mandate.

Neither the Congress, nor the BJP got a majority in MP but Both the parties have crossed the 100 mark. In Madhya Pradesh, Congress has won 114 seats while incumbent BJP got 109 while others got 7 seats.

 In Chhattisgarh, Congress is all set to form the govt after 15 years of BJP rule. Congress won 68 seats and BJP got 15 seats. Congress cadres celebrated their win in Raipur.
