Asus made a subtly veiled punch in OnePlus disguised as math - the Zenfone 6 will have a 5,000 mAh battery, which is more than the OnePlus 7 capacity at 3700 mAh. Interestingly, Asus was not intended for the OnePlus 7 Pro, even though the “more than” sign will still point to Zenfone (Pro has a 4000 mAh battery).

This is similar to the price - OnePlus 7 Pro costs 700 euros, and unprofessional - 550 euros. Because of the leaked prices, the new Zenfone 6 was worth less than 600 euros. Remember that last year Asus Zenfone 5z was the cheapest S845 phone in Europe, falling just below the price of the OnePlus 6.

So the story can repeat. Even if it cannot undermine the OnePlus for the price, Asus has other aces: a dedicated microSD slot, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a notification indicator. He also officially confirmed the Snapdragon 855 chipset and 48-megapixel main camera, corresponding to OnePlus 7.

The leaked images of Asus Zenfone 6 show that this is the main camera (and its 13-megapixel friend) going up for a selfie shot. This is similar to the installation of Honor 7i (except, of course, two cameras) and will compete with the Galaxy A80.
