On Monday, Global tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. announced that it will not unveils Samsung Galaxy S8 at the event of Mobile World Congress (MWC). The new flagship phone will launch later in 2017, unlike its earlier version which launched in 2016 at MWC.

Samsung mobile chief Koh Dong-jin said the phone would not get a launch event at the MWC event in Barcelona, which begins on February 27, unlike the previous Galaxy S Smartphone.

Koh did not tell about the plans they had for the launch of the phone. This is the first flagship Smartphone after the failure of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 over safety issues.

The firm showed off the Galaxy S7 on the sidelines of MWC in February 2016 and started selling the phones in March.

This time Samsung is very much careful about the phone and battery and other parts of the phone. Samsung lost the last battle because of the overconfidence it has gained over the last few years.
