Jammu: Lt Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir inaugurated the first phase of Jammu Ring Road Project on Friday. During this inauguration program, he said that if this project will be completed before the stipulated time, then provision can be made to give incentives.

Governor Sinha said that inaugurating the first phase of Jammu Ring Road project today is a moment of great pride for me. Its foundation stone was laid by PM Narendra Modi in 2018. 

On the other hand, along with two employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board of the state, 23 CRPF jawans, two policemen, a doctor from SMGS Hospital Jammu, a pharmacist, a gardener from Raj Bhavan, Jammu, including 708 locals found coronavirus positive on Wednesday.

This includes 102 cases from Jammu division and 606 from Kashmir. The number of infected cases has reached 30034 in the state. Out of 6965 active cases, 1491 cases are from Jammu division and 5474 from Kashmir. Meanwhile, in the last twenty-four hours, 11 more people died in Kashmir due to coronavirus. So far 573 people have died in the state, including 531 cases from Kashmir. Also, 27 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Katra Vaishno Dham on Wednesday, in which 23 CRPF personnel, two Shrine Board personnel and two Police personnel.
