On the lines of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, UP Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana has also announced that his industry department will now use only indigenous items.

Since the GST rate on different items is different, the reimbursement is not the same even if the investment amount is the same. The idea is to fix capital subsidy instead of GST refund, which can be given in a phased manner.
