Parbhani, Nanded ATS arrested a 31-year-old suspected mediator of Islamic State. Nanded ATS Inspector Manik Bendre said, "the accused had allegedly planned a bomb blast in the city in the month of Ramazan and was to receive some weapons from Syria".

According to him, Naser Bin Abubakar Yafai came in contact with the terror outfit through Internet and had renewed his passport to visit Syria.

Yafai, a resident of the Gadiwan locality in the city, had frequent discussions with one Farooq from Syria.

On thursday, he was arrested and and a case against him was registered at Kalachauki police station in Mumbai.
