MUMBAI: Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami and his wife, on their way home from Stu Dio, have been attacked in midnight Mumbai. Although Arnab and his wife are completely safe, they are not harmed. Police have started investigation. Police has arrested two people in the case of attack on Arnab. A case has been registered against them under Section 341 and 504 of IPC at NM Joshi Marg Police Station.

At the same time, Arnab has said that he was going home from his office with his wife and another colleague at around 12 pm. He was overtaken by two people who came by bike on Ganpatrao Kadam Marg. Stopped their way and attacked the car window several times from the driver side. Arnab was driving the car. When the glass of the car was not broken, the attackers took out a bottle full of liquid and threw it away. He was also abusing. They are accused of being attacked by Youth Congress activists.

Earlier, a complaint was filed against senior journalist Arnab Goswami on Wednesday at two different police stations in Jaipur, Rajasthan, for comments made on the interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi. A police complaint has also been filed against him in Chhattisgarh.
