Rewa: An attempt has once again been made to create a bomb fright in MP's Rewa district. Rewa district of the state is bordering UP. So, such cases are coming up again and again regarding the upcoming elections in UP. This time a bomb was planted to blow up a bridge on the Banaras highway, which was defused by the bomb disposal squad.
 
The same incident took place at the Patehari bridge on the Banaras Highway passing through Mauganj, which was blown up by miscreants who had placed a bomb under the bridge. The police had received a tip-off that a bomb was placed in a box-like object, after which, after stopping traffic on both sides of the road, the bomb disposal squad defused it. There was an uproar in the border areas after the information of the bomb came to light.

The same people informed the police about a box-like bomb being placed under the Patehari overbridge of Mauganj on the Rewa Banaras Highway, on which the police reached the spot. There was also a huge crowd of people on the highway. SP Navneet Bhasin was also keeping a watch on the entire incident. This is the fourth case of a bomb being received in Rewa district within the month of January, before which the bomb was received in Sohagi on January 21, and at Mangawan and Gangev on January 26.
