Melbourne: Australia beat Afghanistan by 7 wickets in the Fourth of the world on Saturday with the help of phenomenal innings of  David Warner (89) and skipper Aaron Finch (66). Winning the toss, the entire Afghanistan team were bowled out for 207 in 38.2 overs. In reply, Australia won the match by 209 runs in 34.5 overs.

 David Warner was awarded the man of the match for playing a superb innings in this match. The Australian team, chasing the target, was a great start. But in 16.2 overs, skipper Gulbadin Nibe gave Australia the first blow by getting Aaron Finch caught by Mujeeb ur Rahman. Finch played a super innings of 66 runs in 66 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes. For the first wicket, there was a 96-run partnership between Finch and Warner.

Same as spin bowler Rashid Khan dealt the second blow to Australia in 24.6 overs as Usman Khawaja (15). The second wicket was a superb partnership of 60 runs between Warner and Khawaja. Then, in 34.4 overs, Mujeeb ur Rahman got Steve Smith out caught by Jakzai.
