Government gave new order regarding fastag, people will get this benefit

The government wants to give people a little more time to become aware of the fastag and put it in their vehicles as soon as possible. Because of this, this decision has been taken in the recent meeting. Just yesterday, the Ministry of Highways has issued instructions to make Fastag mandatory from 15th December. The reason the ministry has postponed Fastag is to give people more time to buy it.

It is to be noted that currently the government is trying to solve the problems being raised by people through the app of Fastag. Banks are also pushing to increase the sales of Fastag. Let us tell you that till now 73 lakh fastag have been sold by the government and the maximum sales of 1.68 lakhs have been done on Thursday. The government is currently distributing it free of cost to several toll plazas.

Apart from this, it is worth noting that along with this, if you enter this lane without fastag, double penalty will also be taken from December 15, instead of 1 December. The government had already announced the fine. In the directive issued by the government, it has also been told that from 15 December all the lanes on either side will be fastag lanes, but only one lane will be left for the cashiers. Fastag is an electronic toll collection system and we had told all kinds of information a while back, including what it is and how it works.
