South Korea carmaker Hyundai Motor India introduced the BS6 variant of its family car Santro in India. The company may launch it soon in India. Latest reports have surfaced about the Hyundai Santro BS6. According to the report, the BS6 variant of Santro will come with 1.1 liter engine.

Hyundai Santro has an ABS and driver air bag standard in all variants. The top model also has a passenger air bag with the driver. Rear AC vents have also been provided to facilitate the seating on the rear seats. The Hyundai Santro has a 1.1-liter petrol engine that gives 68bhp power and 99Nm torque. Apart from this, the car is available in both 5 speed automatic and manual transmission gearboxes. Magna and Sportz variants will also get the option of a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The car has a maximum speed of 150 km / h.

The Santro also offers a factory-fitted CNG kit with its manual transmission gearbox. Its CNG motor generates 58 bhp power and 84 nm torque. The CNG variant only has a manual gearbox. The current model of Hyundai Santro is priced from Rs 4.29 lakh to Rs 5.78 lakh. According to the report, the price of the upcoming BS6 model can increase from Rs 17,000 to Rs 20,000. However, no official information is available regarding this.
