Automotive companies are about to offer at least a dozen new vehicles in the first month of the new year 2020. These range from scooters to luxury cars, as vehicle manufacturers want a fresh start to the new year despite the challenges faced by vehicles being sold in the new year. 3 of the 12 new launches will be electric. This shows the increasing trend of people in India about electric vehicles. Despite this, charging infrastructure will be needed for electric vehicles, which is in the stage of development. These new launches are taking place after a critical 12 months, where sales figures have come down by almost every month compared to the same month of 2018. Many car manufacturers realized their insignificance, faced production cuts and output disruptions.
Hyundai aura
Hyundai (Hyundai) will launch its compact sedan (compact sedan) car Aura (Aura) on 21 January. Petrol and diesel engines will be available in this model. This car uses the platform used in the Grand i10 Nios (Grand i10 NIOS). It will replace the Hyundai Xcent and is expected to be priced below Rs 6 lakh.

Tata Ultros
Tata Ultros will be launched on 22 January. Competes with premium hatchback cars like Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20. It will be one of four all-new car model launches planned in January. The Ultros will have a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder petrol engine that will generate 86 HP power and 113 Nm of torque. The price of this car is likely to be less than Rs 7 lakh.
Audi q8
Upset by the recession, India's fourth-largest luxury car manufacturer Audi - is about to launch its flagship SUV Audi Q8 (Q8) on 15 January. The German car giant will be the fourth SUV in India after Q3 (Q3), Q5 (Q5) and Q7 (Q7). The Audi Q8 is expected to be priced between Rs 1-2 crore.
MG Motor ZS EV
MG Motor ZS EV is the last and fourth of the new model cars being launched. It is an electric vehicle. MG Motor introduced its electric SUV in December and it is expected to be priced below Rs 25 lakh.
Tata Nexon EV
This is Tata's first electric car, which has been launched in the market with new Zyptron electric powertrain technology. The company launched it on 19 December. Tata Nexon EV (Nexon Electric) has a 30.2 kWh battery pack, which gives 129 hp power and 254 Nm of torque. The company has given Lithium-ion battery pack in it, which has been specially tested keeping in mind the Indian roads and environment. This battery pack has an IP67 rating, which does not affect water and dust. There will be a liquid cooling feature in the battery pack so that it can get better performance even in hot temperatures. Tata Motors claims that the Nexon EV will run for 300 km once full charge. Tata started booking this car from December last year.

These models can be launched
Mercedes-Benz CLA and GLE, Volvo XC40 T4 and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (Petrol) are the upgrade models or new variants that launched in January can be done.
Honda
Two-wheeler buyers have also come to the auto sector in January. Four new model two-wheelers are going to be launched in this month. Honda, India's second-largest two-wheeler manufacturer, will launch a model on 15 January. This two-wheeler model will be in line with BS6 (Bharat Stage VI) and will probably be named '6G'.

Bajaj Chetak EV
Bajaj Chetak (Bajaj Chetak) is going to launch its electric scooter. The company introduced it in November 2019. This scooter has a lithium-ion battery that will be able to travel up to 100 km once full charged. Chetak is expected to cost around Rs 1 lakh. Booking of Chetak will start from January.
Tvs
Chennai-based TVS Motor Company will also launch a new model from January 23-25. The makers of Jupiter and Apache have not yet revealed the details of their new model.
Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto is once again set to commercially launch two bikes of the Husqvarna brand. At the India Bike Week held in Goa in December, the Pune-based company introduced two models of Husqvarna - Swartpillan 401 and Vitpillan 401.
