Tata has showcased the Tiago EV Blitz, a sportier version of the Tiago Electric Vehicle (EV) that was launched in September 2022. The Blitz gets cosmetic upgrades to add to its sporty credentials.
The blue highlights found on Tata's other EV models are absent from the front of the Tiago EV Blitz. Instead, it has a closed-off grille and an all-black trim around the headlamps. The Blitz's air dam has angular slats that merge in the centre and are finished in gloss black, as opposed to the normal Tiago EV's Y-shaped motifs, which are finished in body colour.
Flared wheel arches painted in gloss black and 15-inch wheels, previously seen on the Tiago JTP, are two new additions to the Blitz's appearance. While the black roof and outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are still included with the Tiago EV Blitz, the door handles on the basic Tiago EV are not accented in black. The black spoiler, which is finished in body colour on the Tiago EV, is the only distinguishing feature at the back.
However, badging is the quickest method to recognise a Tiago EV Blitz. On the front grille, front doors, and tailgate, it receives a blue bolt design alongside EV emblems. The blue bolt design sewn onto the head restraints is the only interior difference between the Tiago EV Blitz and the standard Tiago EV.
Tata has said that the Tiago EV Blitz will be launched in FY2024.
