New Delhi: Indian SUV specialist Mahindra has increased the prices of the Scorpio-N by up to Rs. 1 lakh, depending on the variant. This is the first price adjustment for the full-size SUV since it arrived on our earth.

According to reports, the most recent hike was done to deal with rising input costs and a global shortage of semiconductors. Now, it costs Rs. 12.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra is considered to be one of India's top producers of SUVs, and its hard luggage range includes the Thar, Bolero, and the XUV700. The Scorpio-N has received a 5-star rating as per the new guidelines of the Global New Car Assessment Program (Global NCAP). However, the recent price hike may reduce the demand for the charismatic SUV.
