New Delhi: At the ongoing Auto Expo 2023, British automaker MG Motor unveiled its full-size MPV, the Unique 7. It is essentially a rebadged version of the hydrogen-powered Maxus Unique 7 van, which is already available in several global markets. Market. The PHEV is equipped with the brand's third generation fuel cell technology, which offers high power density as well as excellent environmental adaptability.

With the capable Hector, MG or Morris Garages started its second innings in the Indian market in 2019. It was an instant hit with buyers looking for a more advanced and feature-packed mid-size SUV. The company was also a pioneer in promoting electrification on our shores. The company has now unveiled the Unique 7 to showcase its commitment towards a greener future.

The MG Euniq 7 features a sculpted bonnet, a large chrome grille, slim LED headlights, triangular air dams and a raked windscreen.

The MPV is flanked by ORVMs with indicators, large sliding-type powered rear doors, flared wheel arches and designer dual-tone wheels.
At the rear, wrap-around LED taillights and a roof mounted spoiler are available. The MG Euniq is powered by an electric motor connected to 7 lithium-ion battery packs and a 6.4kg hydrogen cylinder. The setup produces 201hp. The range of the MPV is up to 605 kms.

The MG Euniq 7's interiors are spacious, seating seven passengers, and include dual-tone minimalist dashboard, premium leather interiors, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control with rear AC vents, dual sunroof and a multifunctional steering Wheel is included. It gets a large infotainment system with a host of connectivity options and a digital instrument cluster. Multiple airbags and ADAS features keep the passengers safe.

Since the MG Euniq 7 is not intended for the Indian market, the automaker has not released any pricing information. The PHEV is showcased at the Auto Expo to determine how much interest the general public shows for it.
