Automobili Lamborghini Urus set new record . Lamborghini Urus took part for the first time in the Days of Speed on the ice of Lake Baikal.  In this race, the Lamborghini Urus setting the 1,000-meter record, at 114kmph average speed from a standing start. Piloted by the 18-time Days of Speed Russian record-holder Andrey Leontyev, the maximum recorded speed of the Urus during the record-breaking sprint was an impressive 298kmph. During the practice runs, the Urus reached a maximum speed of 302kmph. The official data registered by the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) and the RAF (Russian Automobile Federation) will be published next month.

For your information let us share that the Lamborghini Urus features a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 650bhp at 6,000rpm, and producing maximum torque of 850Nm at 2,250rpm. The Urus accelerates from 0-100kmph in 3.6 seconds, 0-200kmph in 12.8 seconds, and with a top speed of 305kmph, it is one of the fastest SUVs available in the market at present.

However, here it is to be noted that the annual Days of Speed festival were held between March 10 and 13, and was organized by LAV-racing Company. The event is dedicated to setting record speeds on ice, and adheres to all regulations of the FIA and RAF.
