The Superhero flick Avengers Endgame is one of the most anticpated film of the year Seems like the Marvel Cinemtaic Universe (MCU) has huge fan following in India as well, considering, a total of 10 tickets were sold within the first 24 hours from when bookings finally opened in India. According to BookMyShow, a online ticketing portal, 18 tickets per second were sold as soon as the portal opened Endgame ticket bookings for the general movie-going audience.

Ashish Saksena, Chief Operating Officer - Cinemas, BookMyShow, said that “We expect 'Avengers: Endgame' to break more records as cinemas continue to open the advance bookings.”
One can guess what this means for the box-office collection of Avengers: Endgame. Considering no other Hollywood film has ever sold as many tickets within the first 24 hours of bookings opening.

The last installemt of Avengers series, Avengers: Infinity War made over Rs 227 crore at the Indian box-office during its lifetime run. While, Infinity War still holds the record for the biggest opening day collections (Rs 31.30 crore) for any Hollywood film in India, it also holds the record for the biggest opening weekend collections with Rs 94.30 crore. So, there is quite the possibility that Avengers: Endgame might shatter the records set by its predecessor.
