PM Modi has extended the lockdown period due to Corona. Only after this, airlines have started the facility of cancelling tickets for customers. But they said that they will not refund the ticket amount to the customers. In lieu of this, they will provide the facility of travel for a later date at no extra charge. All the companies, except the government carrier Air India, accepted ticket booking for domestic flights for the days following the end of the lockdown period on April 14, but the government extended the lockdown period to May 3.

Regarding this step, a spokesperson of Vistara said that its passengers can change the travel date and destination by the end of this year at no extra charge. A GoAir spokesperson said that such situations had come before the company. As before, we will allow passengers to change the date and destination of the journey at no additional charge for one year. IndiGo said that its passengers can change the booking for the date up to one year later.
