New Delhi: The 13th day of hearing of the Supreme Court Constitution bench on the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case will be held today. Senior advocate Sushil Jain, appearing for Nirmohi Akhara at the 12th day hearing on Monday, had told the court that we manage the place of worship and want the right to worship and the registration of the birthplace cannot be given to the next friend of the deity or to a priest. This work can only be given to the doers of the birthplace and the Nirmohi Akhara takes care of the birthplace.

The court had said, "You debate two issues, how will the first puja be done, what will be its nature and secondly, where do you want to worship outside or inside?" Earlier on Friday, advocate Sushil Jain of Nirmohi Akhara had argued for the 11th day of the hearing. He described the Nirmohi Akhara as the shebet (One who serve diety) of the birthplace . He had said that no other person has the right to petition in the name of Ram Lalla and the place should be handed over to us.

Earlier on Thursday, senior advocate Ranjit Kumar, appearing for the petitioner Gopal Singh Visharad, had said that I am a Ram worshipper and I have every right to worship at the birthplace. This right cannot be taken away from me. Quoting the testimony of 80-year-old Abdul Ghani, said that the Babri Masjid was built at Ram birthplace. In the British Raj, only Friday prayers were read in the mosque and Hindus also came to worship there. Ranjit Kumar had said that after the mosque was demolished, Muslims stopped praying there, but the Hindus did not stop worshipping.
