Ayodhya: The much-awaited Ram temple work in Ayodhya will start from Wednesday after the Rudra Abhishek ceremony. The ceremony will be attended by a limited number of people and will be held at the Kubera Tila Temple. A grand Bhumi Pujan ceremony was also planned to be held which has been postponed in view of the Corona crisis.

Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, the spokesperson of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, head of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust, has said that the construction work of the temple will begin on June 10 after Rudra Abhishek. He has said that "We will first follow the tradition of Lord Rama by worshipping Lord Shiva". Triloki Nath Pandey said that the ancient temple of Lord Shiva is situated on Kubera Tila. On June 10, prayers will be held at 8 am in the same temple. He said that Mahant Kamal Nayan Das will offer special prayers with other priests on behalf of the president of Ram Mandir Trust. It will take close to two hours.

Meanwhile, devotees will finally be able to offer prayers to Lord Rama as the temporary temple at Rama Janmabhoomi will open on Monday after a gap of 77 days. The temple will be open for a total of eight hours from eight in the morning to one in the afternoon and again from three in the afternoon to six in the evening. During this time it will be necessary to follow all the guidelines.
