Ayodhya: Members of the Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust and officials convened for the third meeting of the Shri Ram Mandir construction committee, overseeing the development of the temple’s fifth gallery, which is set to become a global museum.
The meeting, chaired by Narpendra Mishra, began at 10 a.m. Mishra conducted a personal inspection of the gallery’s design and its future presentation to the public. The fifth gallery, under construction by IIT Chennai, will be dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Initial construction is underway, and while detailed scriptwriting is still in progress, the committee will evaluate the appropriate technology for presenting religious stories based on the final script. The first four galleries, managed by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, feature the Ram Katha (the story of Lord Ram).
The fifth gallery will incorporate advanced technologies such as 3D and 7D to showcase a twenty-minute video on the life of Lord Hanuman. Visitors will experience the video on large screens with 3D technology, with the gallery accommodating approximately 25 people at a time. The international museum is expected to be completed within a year of its initiation. The script for the museum is being developed by IIT Chennai and the Science and Technology Department of the Government of India, with final adjustments by Sandip Kumar, a key committee member.
Anil Mishra, a trustee of the temple committee, highlighted that the museum will integrate scripts from the Ram Katha, focusing on Lord Hanuman. He emphasized that the museum, in collaboration with government departments, will offer a unique viewing experience with cutting-edge technology and is slated for completion within a year.
