New Delhi: The global pandemic coronavirus has killed more than half a million people in the world so far. Everyone is looking for a vaccine. In the midst of this, Patanjali, the institution of yoga guru Ramdev, surprised everyone by making 'coronil'. It was claimed by Baba Ramdev that the person suffering from coronavirus has become healthy by coronil, the result has also been excellent in the trial. But there was an immediate dispute on this. The Ministry of AYUSH stopped the sale of this medicine as 'Corona medicine', but after getting the clarification, now this medicine can be sold as an immunity booster.

When the cases of coronavirus were increasing rapidly in the country, then Ramdev's organization Patanjali made a claim. In the last week of June, it was claimed that coronavirus victims could be treated with coronil. Ramdev said in his claim that in the first three weeks, the condition of corona sufferers has been seen to improve 67 percent, and 100 percent recovered in one week. He has called the basis of this claim a successful trial. Total of three medicines was launched in the coronil kit.

After Patanjali's claim, a new debate started in the country and the world. In the midst of this debate, the Ministry of AYUSH asked Patanjali for clarification, in which it was asked to give detailed information about the trial, the process of making medicines, and research. Till the completion of the investigation, this coronil was banned from promoting as the 'coronavirus medicine'. When the dispute increased, Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna were clarified that only the communication gap has happened in Patanjali and AYUSH ministry, everything else is fine. Patanjali said that this drug increases immunity.
