UNICEF India has announced the appointment of famous Bollywood star, Ayushmann Khurrana as the National Ambassador. The National Award-winning film star has also joined hands with UNICEF to ensure every child's right to survive, thrive, and be safe, as well as promote their voice in their decisions. Ayushmann has already been associated with social work and now another big responsibility has been entrusted to the actor.

Speaking at the felicitation ceremony, Ayushmann Khurrana said that it is indeed an honor for me to take forward the advocacy of child rights as a national ambassador with UNICEF India. I am passionate about the issues facing children and teens in India. As a UNICEF celebrity advocate, I have interacted with children and talked about internet safety, hate speech, photos and threats on the internet, mental health, and gender equality. In this new role with UNICEF, I will continue to be a strong voice for child rights, especially for the most vulnerable, advocating for solutions to the issues that affect them most.
