Azadi March: Complete opposition mobilized against Pak PM, Imran may have to resign

Islamabad: Protests against PM Imran Khan are being organized all over the country by Pakistan's opposition parties. This anti-government 'Azadi march' will reach the capital Islamabad today on Thursday. Thousands of protesters in Pakistan are protesting till Islamabad. They are demanding PM Imran Khan to resign due to weak economy and corruption.

The demonstration is originally being carried out by Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-F (JUI-F), whose chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that the entire country is united in demanding the resignation of PM Imran Khan. While addressing the protesters at Yatim Khana Chowk in Lahore, Rehman has said that from Karachi to Islamabad, there is a general consensus among Pakistani people that Imran Khan should resign. He has said that Imran Khan still has time to submit his resignation respectfully, as the Pakistanis will no longer grant him any further time to do so.

Concerned with the widespread public support on the Independence March, Imran Khan has said that as long as the people involved in the march follow the law, the government will not create any hindrance in the protest. Along with this, he said that strict action will be taken if the agreement with the team appointed by the government is violated.
