Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh CM and Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has come in support of senior party leader and MP from Rampur Azam Khaan. Azam Khan is facing many cases these days. 80 cases have been filed against him. Police has taken strong action on many of Azam's close people. Many SP workers are leaving Rampur to avoid police action. Azam Khan was also seen falling alone in this battle. After this, the party's mentor Mulayam Singh Yadav descended in his support.
He held a press conference in Lucknow and called upon the workers to take the road in support of Azam. Mulayam Singh Yadav had said that activists should oppose Azam's insult. Mulayam's call has resulted in the fact that the party's national president Akhilesh Yadav himself has announced to go to Rampur. Along with Akhilesh, many big leaders of the party will also visit Rampur.
In such a situation, the whole country will be eyeing Akhilesh Yadav and Rampur on September 9. Akhilesh also defended Azam Khan in Parliament when he was seen surrounded by comments on Rama Devi. Opponents of Azam are also waiting for what will be the way to protest Akhilesh Yadav. After all, one thing is certain that the politics of Rampur will heats up in the coming days. Activities will also intensify for the by-election in Rampur city assembly seat. This assembly seat is traditionally considered SP. Azam Khan has won this seat nine times before becoming an MP.
