Rampur: Azam Khan, the veteran leader of Samajwadi Party (SP) and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat, has lost 22 kg. Yes, Azam Khan himself has said this. Actually, in the assembly by-election to be held in UP, Rampur assembly seat will also be voted. Azam Khan's wife Tajin Fatima is contesting on the SP ticket from this assembly seat.

Azam Khan is campaigning for his wife Tanzin Fatima, while addressing a public meeting, he got emotional. Azam Khan said while crying that I am not performing, my weight has reduced by 22 kg. He further said, "I was framed because I fought for the general public and the general good. On the Triple Talaq and Ayodhya Ram mandir issue, I had said that everyone should wait for the court's decisions. I said nothing more, and yet I am being punished."

Speaking on the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Azam Khan said that whoever looted (Jaya Prada) wealth, why did you defeat him, I am getting the same punishment. Azam Khan said that Johar University and schools will also be closed gradually. Azam Khan said that after 1947, every five years, the country kept retreating through the path of Jamhooriyat.
