Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP)'s strong Muslim leader Azam Khan, his MLA son Abdullah Azam and former MP wife Tazin Fatima have appeared in Rampur court today. In the case of two birth certificates, the court had asked him to appear. Earlier, in the case of two birth certificates of Abdullah Azam, the witnesses could not be cross-examined on Thursday (December 22). Expressing displeasure over this, the court imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on SP Azam Khan, his son Abdullah and his wife Tajin Fatima. After this, the court summoned all the accused on Friday.

The case against SP MLA Abdullah Azam for having two birth certificates from different dates of birth is under consideration in the MP-MLA court. This case was filed by BJP leader Akash Saxena. Apart from Abdullah, his father Azam Khan, and his mother former MP Dr. Tajin Fatima are also accused in this case. In the MP-MLA Special Court (Magistrate Trial) on Thursday, the critic Narendra Tyagi and Inspector Civil Lines Kishan Avtar recorded their statements as witnesses, but they could not be cross-examined.

According to the BJP leader's lawyer Sandeep Saxena, on Thursday, on behalf of the prosecution, in this case, judge Narendra Tyagi and Inspector Civil Lines Kishan Avtar Singh were presented in the court. They were to be cross-examined, but time was again sought from the defense counsel. On this, the prosecution and objection were filed by them. There was a debate on this. According to him, the court imposed a compensation of Rs.10,000 on the defense while expressing its displeasure over the defense being involved in the case. Fixing the date for the hearing of the matter on Friday, the court ordered all the accused SP leader Azam Khan, his MLA son Abdullah Azam and his wife Tazeen Fatima to appear individually.
