Uttar Pradesh minister Azam Khan's plea of apology in case of Bulandshahr gang rape case has been accepted by Supreme Court. The bench of justices Dipak Misra and Amitava Roy said, that he has filed a affidavit and no further argument will be accepted from now on behalf of Azam Khan.

Fali S Nariman who is assisting the court in the matter said "the affidavit furnished by Khan should be accepted." “ As the questions framed by the court are constitutionally significant he would like to assist the court.” Said Advocate Kapil Sibal.

On which Mukul Rohatgi and Fali Nariman agreed and said "it would be desirable if Kapil Sibal put forth his points in respect to the questions framed by the court earlier".
