Azamgarh: Man kills mother, sister in triple murder case

Lucknow: The Tihrer murder case created a sensation in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that a young man attacked his parents and 13-year-old sister with an axe in a family dispute in Dhanrashi village under the Kandhrapur police station area, in which all three lost their lives. There was much hue and cry in the area after this incident. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and started an investigation after taking possession of the dead body.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Anurag Arya has informed about the incident that information was received from Dhandhari village under Kaptanganj that 20-year-old Rajan Singh had killed his father Bhanu Pratap Singh, mother Smita Singh, and 13-year-old sister with an axe. The accused fled after committing the crime. Immediately after the information SHO, CEO, Additional SP reached the spot. IG has also inspected the spot.

A field unit and dog squad have been called to the scene. Evidence collection is being done. Two teams have been formed for the investigation. Three teams have been deployed to arrest the accused. SOG and surveillance have also been included in these. Two COs are included. Some people in the village have told different stories; they will be questioned in detail. After the incident, the dog squad along with police, including the DIG Range, SP, Additional SP, and CO, are investigating the spot.
