Azamgarh: In Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, the second murder was done on Thursday morning at an interval of two hours. On Thursday morning near the Tehsil of Mehnagar town, a 65-year-old farmer was shot to death by unknown people with a sharp weapon. The reason for the incident is not yet clear. The farmer had a fight with his neighbour over the land. Two people are being interrogated for custody. Police, including CO Lalganj Manoj Raghuvanshi, visited the scene of the incident.

Earlier, Rakesh Singh, the brother-in-law of Pradhan, who lives in Surhan village under Didarganj police station area, was stabbed to death. His corpse was found on the roadside outside the village on Thursday morning. On Wednesday evening, he went to a feast with a friend at a Dhaba in Jaunpur. Angry people blocked the road near the village. The jam ended after three hours on SP Rural's trust. The police is giving the reason for the murder to the dispute in the money lane.

Balchand son Manai, 65, of Jawahar Nagar in Mehnagar town has a farm near the tehsil. There is tubewell on the farm. Sugarcane was crushed on the tubewell on Thursday. Balchand's nephew Vijay and Ajay were on their way home with a cane from the tractor. Balchand was going on a bicycle from behind. On the way, unknown people attacked Balachand with sharp weapons.
