Gopalganj: Father and son were attacked and killed in a clash between two groups in the Kuchaikot police station area of Gopalganj district of Bihar late on Wednesday night. One person was seriously injured in this incident. The police have taken immediate action and arrested six people in this case.

A police officer said on Thursday that his son Mukesh Tiwari, a resident of Phulwaria village, stood outside his house. They allege that in the meantime some people from the village reached there after drinking alcohol and started abusing them. During this protest, they attacked Ramikbal and Mukesh with sharp weapons, killing both on the spot. Another member of the family who came to the rescue was also seriously injured, who has been sent to the local hospital for treatment.

Giving information about the police station in-charge of Kuchykot, Tiwari's family was in dispute with some people from the neighbourhood. He told that in this case the police has arrested six people and the whole matter is being investigated. Tensions have prevailed in the village after this incident.
