Shahid Kapoor, who gave his superb performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's superhit film 'Padmavat', is busy in Sandeep Reddy's Kabir Singh remake of Telugu film 'Arjun Reddy'. Earlier this week, fans finally got to see Shahid Kapoor in his upcoming film Kabir Singh. The film, which is a remake of the blockbuster Telugu language drama, Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, has been remade for the Bollywood audience by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Recently, the teaser of this movie was released, in which Shahid's different looks are seen as his fans are very keen. Shahid's performance was not only appreciated by his fans, but many celebrities praised his film on his social media handle. Baahubali star Prabhas, who will be seen next on the big screen Shraddha Kapoor in his upcoming action flick Saaho, was also one who watched the Kabir Singh trailer soon after it dropped. 

This information was given by his hairstylist Aalim Hakim. He was with Prabhas at the time while the Baahubali star saw the Kabir Singh trailer and upon realizing how impressed Prabhas was with Shahid and the trailer, Hakim decided to connect the two stars.

“I was in Hyderabad shooting for Saaho with Prabhas, and the teaser of Kabir Singh had just launched online. Prabhas checked it out and loved it. Even his team members, who have enjoyed Arjun Reddy, felt that Shahid looked brilliant. Seeing Prabhas’ reaction to the promo, I called up Shahid and handed him the phone. The former praised him and said that Kabir Singh looks even better than the original. Both of them chatted for a good seven-odd minute,” Aalim Khan revealed to the publication.
