Patanjali Ayurveda of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna is now going to step in the Textile Manufacturing sector. Patanjali Ayurveda's projects in FMCG sector have already been dominated and now stepping their foots in the textile business.

Baba Ramdev said, “Patanjali will make everything from underwear to ethnic and sportswear soon.” Patanjali will soon get into garment and textile market and break the stronghold of foreign manufacturers, Ramdev said during the inauguration of Patanjali Gramodhyog in Alwar, Republic revealed.

Challenges to foreign companies in the Garment Sector:

Today, Baba Ramdev himself said at the inauguration ceremony of Patanjali Gramodhyog Industries in Alwar, Patanjali will soon come to Garment and Textile market and challenge the domination of foreign companies in this sector.

The goal of turnover of Rs. 5000 crores:

At the same time, Patanjali spokesperson has informed that Patanjali will be launching its line of ‘Swadeshi’ apparel, with an initial sales target of Rs. 5, 000 Crore, Through this new venture, the company aims to bring a good quality of clothes to the masses, including knitwear and denim, the report said.

However, before that Patanjali is in  Food and Herbal sector (which is the main production facility of the company.)
