New Delhi: Baba Ramdev, a yoga guru and founder of Patanjali Ayurveda, promotes the products of his company on his own. But now soon even renowned cricketers and actors can be seen promoting Patanjali's products. The decision comes 15 years after Baba Ramdev founded Patanjali Ayurveda.
Baba Ramdev in a recent interview has said that for the first time it has been decided to choose a popular celebrity like cricketer and actor to promote Patanjali products. The celebrity will also promote Ruchi soya products along with Patanjali. Patanjali Ayurveda bought Ruchi Soya only last year. Baba Ramdev founded Patanjali Ayurveda in 2006. Talking to the media, Baba Ramdev said that we are going through a process of agreement with a cricketer and a Bollywood actor. The process of the agreement will be completed in the next few days. However, Baba Ramdev has not revealed the name of any celebrity.
The yoga guru said that some industry leaders mock what a yogi must have known about corporate governance and professionalism. We took his joke as a challenge and established Ruchi Soya as a listed corporate entity. He said Ruchi Soya will change from a commodity company to an FMCG company and become a market leader with a turnover of 50,000 crore rupees.
