New Delhi: In the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case, the Babri Masjid Action Committee will file a petition in the apex court and demand to take the debris of Babri Masjid. The reasoning of the committee behind this is that the disputed building demolished on 6 December 1992 is considered by the top court to be the Babri Masjid in the judgment on the Ayodhya case, so the debris of this mosque should be given to the committee.

The Action Committee says that according to the Shari'a, the debris and material of a mosque cannot be used in any other building and mosque, so the top court should allow the debris action committee to take it. It is noteworthy that in the judgment in Ayodhya case on November 9, the apex court had given the decision to give the entire part of the disputed land to Ramlala Virajaman.

In return, 5 acres of land was ordered to be given to the Muslim side for the construction of the mosque. The court in its judgment termed the placing of the idols within the disputed structure in 1949 and the demolition of the disputed structure in 1992 as illegal and unfortunate. However, the Babri Masjid Action Committee is not a party in the land dispute case and a reconsideration application was not filed on their behalf.
