Chess lovers all over the world are hounded by the lapses in the conduct of the Women's Grand Prix Chess Tournament being held in India for the first time and the poor management of the organising committee by two Grand Masters players who have withdrawn from the tournament themselves. After the separation, India's reputation in foreign countries has also been reduced.

This tournament was to start on March 24 in Delhi, but due to incomplete preparations, it has been delayed by 24 hours. It is now scheduled to run until April 6, in which 16 women players from around the world participated. Grandmaster Elisabeth Petz of Germany and Grandmaster Jansaya Abdumlik of Kazakhstan decided to pull out of the tournament because of the poor management of the organising committee's director, Bharat Singh Chauhan.

The news says that Bharat Singh Chauhan has been removed from the post of secretary of the All India Chess Federation by the Delhi High Court, yet he has been made the director of such a big international competition, due to which India's reputation is getting tarnished. The chess players of the country are also troubled because of this disorder.

No one to receive her at the airport, no room in the hotel: When Grandmaster Jansaya Abdumalik of Kazakhstan reached Delhi to take part in the tournament, there was no one from the organisers to receive her at the airport. After which she directly reached the hotel as told by the organisers, and there the rooms of the players were not ready. So many players had to wait till morning in the lobby of the hotel itself. The Kazakh Grand Master was so angry with this disorder. He distanced himself from the tournament.
