Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla is unstoppable at the box office. Despite facing competition from the holdover and new releases, the crime thriller is performing extremely well in the domestic and international markets. The revenge thriller marked the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu after 2016's courtroom drama Pink, which was a huge box office hit. Sujoy Ghosh directorial has grossed Rs 92.56 crore (nett Rs 78.44 crore) in India and Rs 33.21 crore in the international markets. It currently stands with the grand total of Rs 125.77 crore.

Film critics and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “ #Badla crosses 125 cr *worldwide* [Gross BOC]... India: ₹ 92.56 cr, Overseas: ₹ 33.21 cr, Total: ₹ 125.77 cr Gross BOC.”

The plot of the Badla revolves around Naina Sethi (Taapsee Pannu) who has been accused of murdering a man she has an affair with, but she claims innocent. Her lawyer Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan), who never lost a case in his career, helps her solve the mystery of what really happened, but he has only three hours to uncover the truth.
