Dehradun: Badrinath Highway has been blocked due to a rock break near Birhi on Badrinath National Highway in North Rakhand. Around 7:30 in the morning, a part of the rock broke and came on the highway amidst heavy rain. The wheels of the vehicles of the pilgrims going on pilgrimage to Badrinath Dham and Hemkund Sahib stopped on Sunday morning. Suddenly a part of the rock broke down on the Badrinath highway, due to which there was a long line of vehicles on both sides of the highway.
Pilgrims are waiting for the highway to open. JCB machines have been installed by NHIDCL to open the highway. Efforts are on to open the highway, but for the time being here, the passengers will have to wait for the highway to open. Let us inform you that in view of the weather in Uttarakhand, an alert has already been issued by the Meteorological Department.
Similarly, another incident is coming out from Roorkee in Uttarakhand, in which it is being told that on Friday late night, the car riders gang-raped the woman and her 6-year-old daughter by giving lift in the car. After committing the crime, the criminals fled by throwing the mother and daughter on the banks of the Gangnahar. The woman reached the police with her daughter in a bleeding condition and was informed about the matter. The police got the girl admitted to the civil hospital in a serious condition.
