The festival of Baisakhi is being celebrated all over the country today. On this day, Guru Gobind Singh established the Khalsa Panth. On the day of Baisakhi, the 10th Guru of Sikhs, Gobind Singh, laid the foundation of Khalsa Pant at Anandpur Sahib on the day of Baisakhi in 1699, and there is an interesting story related to this which we are going to tell you today.

Everyone was shocked to hear this. Then a disciple agreed. Guru Govind Singh took him to a room and after a while, a stream of blood started coming out of the room. Seeing this scene, all the disciples sitting outside were shocked. He could not understand this behavior of his mentor. After this Guru Gobind Singh ji came out again and then he asked for a head. First all the disciples were silent, then one agreed. After that the same thing happened again.

In order of one, Guru Govind Singh took the examination of his five disciples. Guru Govind Singh ji went to the room and brought the five disciples back alive. All the disciples started to wonder and wanted to know the secret of the flowing blood, then Govind Singh told that inside he had sacrificed animals and he only wanted to test his disciples, in which all passed. It is said that after this, Guru Govind Singh made his five disciples drink 'Amrit' and said that they will now be called Singh. This is called Khalsa. Those who were instructed to keep their hair and beard big, wear comb, saber, briefs and harden in their hands for grooming the hair. The establishment of this Khalta Panth is celebrated every year as Baisakhi.
