India giant auto manufacturerBajaj Auto recorded a 16 percent reduction in overall sales in February to 3,16,020 units on Wednesday. In February 2021, the firm had sold 3,75,017 units.
Bajaj Auto said in a regulatory filing that domestic sales were 1,12,747 units last month, down 32% from 1,64,811 units in the last month.
In February of last year, total two-wheeler sales fell 16 percent to 2,79,337 units, compared to 3,32,563 units in February of the previous year. Total commercial vehicle sales fell 14% to 36,683 units from 42,454 units in the same month previous year, according to the business. Previous month, exports fell 3% to 2,03,273 units, down from 2,10,206 units in the same month last year, according to the report.
